Nini Raviolette's "Suis-Je Normale" is mischievous, dark and mysterious. The simple drone of a synthesizer pad and percussive, pizzicato blips are all that accompany Nini's bedroom harmonies in this otherwise drumless serenade. The track seems to reside inside an ice box its so chilly.

Magazine 60
I have meant to write up Magazine 60 for a while now. Some of you may already be familiar with these tracks but I had to get it up here for those who aren't. Don Quichotte made some waves in the U.S. market and there are few versions of it out there. Great breaks and fun lyrics. It was sampled by Will.I.Am for his song "I Got It From My Mama" (another mindless contribution to pop music).

Elle et Moi
Sensual is the first word that comes to mind to describe Max Berlin's iconic "Elle et moi" (She and I). A poetic, sexual lullaby that beckons for the evening warmth of bed sheets. Check out the lyrics here. Below is a great remix from Joakim.

Gino Palatino

"Vendetta a Parigi" is wonderfully sleazy track from 1982 by Jean Soullier (aka Gino Palatino), a Frenchman singing in Italian. The lyrics grace the back of the cover and here is a rough English translation of a French translation that I had google do for me. Just scroll down to the comments to get a gist of the lyrics. This one was also featured in podcast 2.

Ruth - Roman Photo
Ruth - Roman Photo
French New Wave from 1985 with some really crisp drums. A great blend of live and synthesized instruments here with the clever incorporation of old camera sounds in the intro that make this one a captivating, moody peace. The brain child of Philippe Doray, Ruth Ellyeri, and Thierry Müller, they also teamed together for some experimental electronic music in the late 70s and early 80s under the name Ilitch.

Euro Commercials and Crystal Sculpture
Some great commercials for your viewing pleasure including a few from Crystal Sculpture. My brother showed me some of Crystal Sculpture's vids in the past and if you have not explored his/her channels do so with haste.
